About Me

From multinational to entrepreneur: my journey

After 20 years working at a large multinational company, with a five-digit employee number, I made the leap to self-employment. During my career, I have always found room to shape my work as I see fit, or job crafting. I learned about multicultural collaboration, process optimization, customer experience and working under high pressure. But I also saw how short-term goals often prevailed, while long-term strategic choices – such as engaged and inspired employees – faded into the background.

The step to independence

This realization triggered a deep desire in me: I wanted to contribute to a better balance between people and organization. In 2011 I became fascinated by sustainable employability and the power of taking control of your own career. Still, it took some time before I really dared to take the step to entrepreneurship. Uncertainty held me back – until I realized that staying where I was did not make me happy either.

Growing by doing

Now I help others do the same: set their own course, make choices that really suit them and trust themselves. Because growth comes with trial and error, but the trick is to get up every time. If I can do it, so can you.
